Article 06

It is a beautiful Saturday morning with a deep blue sky slowing giving way to gray as the coming snow whispers. It is indeed one of my favorite moments for in this fleeting change I find immense peace, joy and love in my heart. In anticipation of the white purity of a new fallen snow, there is a sense of freshness, hope and rejuvenation.
I look around the café and wonder what the others might be thinking. I am curious if they see this moment in the same way that I see it. We will never know because it is impossible to know exactly how anyone else sees anything. But that is okay, if your Sanguine Panguin, with kind smile or gesture can bring a moment of peace or joy to a stranger or to a friend, that is really what matters.
As I savor my coffee reading the morning newspaper, The Panguin Herald, I find serenity in the knowledge that a peaceful panguin does more good than a learned panguin. This is not to diminish knowledge or learnedness but rather to remind us of the importance of peace and how peace can positively influence our fellow panguins and other friends. True peace is almost tangible, almost visible – almost like the first snowflake that magically and gracefully drifts downwards from the heavens.
